2022. DEPARTURE consist of a campaign questioning the inequality of the current citizenship system, and a website that elaborates the research behind each statement as well as proposing four scenarios for the future. Additionally, the campaign is advocating for the ideal potential scenario. MA-project made in collaboration with Linh Dieu Vu Pham.
There is an increasing number of war and climate refugees in the world, who are in need of new citizenship. The current system only favors some groups of the world"s entire population, giving them the privilege to easily relocate when necessary. Our project is focusing on creating awareness about citizenship inequality as well as speculating about how the future of citizenship could look like. Explore more about the current state of inequality and the future alternatives of citizenship on www.departure-citizen.com.
The campaign statements are based on key findings which are the most important to highlight. The strategy and aim for the campaign is to transform the official language of passports, invade the space at Copenhagen Airport and expose the problems within the global system of citizenship.
On the website it is possible to explore the research and future scenarios. The four different scenarios are speculative, possible alternatives to the current reality of citizenship: Transaction, Interflex, Segregation and Boundless. The scenarios are based on our research, past and current events hence they are not entirely fictional. Each scenario is represented by a symbol, map and passport artifact.
This project was rewarded the Bevica travel grant for "An Inclusive Perspective in Design"
2022. “In June, I received a printed copy of my older brother’s PhD. In October, I wrote an assignment about the designers role in relation to Artists’ Books.” The PhD wants to explain a whole lot of things, the artists’ book don’t necessarily. 2021. A visual exploration of Asta Nielsen’s silent body language. We are affective and physical before we are linguistic. This book presents different visual themes and patterns of movement by the Danish silent movie actress Asta Nielsen (1881-1972). Student project made in collaboration with Mollie Nord Sandvad. With her body language, Asta could tell stories and personify her characters - bringing them to life and giving them meaning, hundreds of meanings. She produced "the pursuit of happiness through the drama of the body". We have looked closely at Asta and examined her Affect.

2021. UNDER CONSTRUCTION is a participatory data-collection experience in the form of an exhibition; examining the individual's relationship to the concept `sacrifice´ and how it relates to the climate crisis at the current moment. Student project made in collaboration with Clara Maj Pinholt, Kirsten Lauge Jørgensen & Mollie Nord Sandvad.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION consist of eight statements on everyday sacrifices, which participants have to consider, reflect and react upon. For each statement are four responses, represented by a stone; the participants has to hit the responses they agree with – using a hammer.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION has a participant limit of a thousand people; when reached, the results will be displayed. Participants have the choice to collect a fragment of their own contribution, wrap it and bring it home as a gift. Wrapping the fragment generates praise and value for the contribution, and is a motivational reminder of; the sacrifices we are making have an impact.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION hopes to bring a new perspective, challenge people’s passivity and inspire courage towards more action.

2020. CLOSE(R) is curious about the future, and investigates how our phone habits might affect our relationships in the long term.
The interactive website experience is shaped by your choices, and might push your understanding of being present. BA-project made in collaboration with Mollie Nord Sandvad & Vårin Fosness Blekastad.
“We have never been so close to each other, yet so far away.”
This statement ascertains that social media is arranged in a way, so that time and distance are no longer an obstacle for “being” together or communicating constantly, making us closer than ever before. At the same time, we become more distant when we are together in the physical space. We are trying to be present in two places at once, which makes our interactions with each other weaker.
CLOSE(R) investigates four potential future scenarios which can be used as tools to understand the present and imagine what kind of future we want. The four scenarios include:
SCENARIO (DISTANCE) SCENARIO (HYBRID)
SCENARIO (WIRED) SCENARIO (CONTROL)
The aim of CLOSE(R) is to create a dialogue and an awareness about how and when we use social media on our phones.
Furthermore the website functions as a behavioral research study, mapping which tendencies are the most prominent.
